Description

The Customer Service Representative will support the Downtown Transit Center (DTC) by:

  • Providing in-person customer service from behind a screened in service booth
  • Answering phone calls and passenger inquiries
  • Providing general support to passengers and the DTC
  • Collecting any pertinent information from passengers
  • Maintaining accurate ticket inventories and daily receipts*
  • Assisting operators in replacing trim units
  • Other duties as assigned
Starting Pay Rate:  $14.00 hourly 

Essential Job Skills and Abilities: As a primary point of contact for GMT customers, you must be able to communicate effectively with the diverse population we serve, while remaining calm and collected, even in stressful situations. This position will be tasked with resolving customer issues effectively and in a timely manner, while managing multiple competing priorities. 

 
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for long periods, prolonged use of a computer, ability to answer phone call, willingness to use office equipment (i.e: fax machines, credit card machines, scanners etc.) and occasionally lifting weight of up to 30lbs. 
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
